Burger Hill Park Rhinebeck, Dutchess County Hudson River Valley, New York State Burger Hill's seventy-six-acres of open meadows and rural, scenic beauty are perfect for bird-watching. The park is protected by a Scenic Hudson conservation easement and is owned by Winnakee Land Trust.
From Scenic Hudson: "A half-mile trail leads uphill through open meadows abounding with birds to a 550-foot hilltop affording panoramic vistas stretching from the Berkshires to the Catskills. In winter Burger Hill is one of the region's prime sledding destinations. Scenic Hudson originally protected the parkland, now owned by the Winnakee Land Trust."
