South Salem Winery, a micro-winery in the Hudson Valley, is located inside Gossett Bros. Nursery at 1202 Route 35, South Salem N.Y. 10590 in Westchester County.

From South Salem Winery: "Welcome to South Salem Winery, Westchester county’s first micro-winery. We truly are a micro-winery, producing small batches of hand-crafted wine, our grapes from Orient Point and the Finger Lakes. We currently offer 2016 NYS Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vidal Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and a Rosé of Merlot. We also sell NYS Hard Cider and Champagne.

"We are a small family owned winery dedicated to making the best wine possible. We source our grapes from the Finger Lakes, Long Island, and California. We produce our wine by hand-crafting small batches of grapes, using long fermentation, soft presses, and barrel aging.

"Most of the grapes that we use come from my friend’s vineyard in Orient Point, Long Island. All of our wines are unfiltered, unpasteurized, and contain only naturally-occurring sulfides. All of our varietals are made in small batches of as little as 300 bottles of each."
